JYOTHI infact means 'LIGHT'. Our sages extracted these from the VEDAS and simplified them to a autonomous science or saastra for the well being of common man. There exist a numerous extra terrestrial bodies, galaxies, asteroids, planetoids. The bodies in proximity to EARTH tend to inflence our life. JYOTHISHYAM takes the pattern of movement of these bodies into account and thus is a GEO-PHYSICAL SCIENCE.
